It has been a while since I posted something on my blog. The unintentional break always made me feel guilty whenever I open my browser. There were instances when I thought I must wrap up my blog and shut it down for good. But as usual, the don’t give up nature in me kept my blog alive. And here I am today making my post after a really long hibernation.
I wonder what made me start a blog; that too a personalised blog in my own domain and hosting space, and what made me go into a deep slumber? I started this blog back in 2009 when I felt the urge for an outlet to let my anguish on various issues that bothered me directly and indirectly. Then slowly it became a place to where I did random rants and wrote about social issues, short stories, and the mere compulsion to keep my blog alive which slowly deteriorated to its temporary coma. I even introduced a Gallery section in my blog to keep it alive when I was not writing. But it seems my blog really needed a break from me.
So, what am I going to blog in my second innings? I have not really thought about it. But I am pretty sure it would be different from my earlier writings and rants. I am so in love with my blog theme, that it would remain unchanged, except the probability of a different banner and the title. Back to blogging would also mean that I have to log into Second Life. As someone who is against plagiarism and who do not prefer to source copyrighted images from other sites, I take snapshots from Second Life by creating the relevant scenario I need for a post or try to create my own image. So, this would also initiate my second inning in Second Life.
Here comes my second innings in blogosphere! While I am writing this, a part in me makes me wonder if I should really write a ‘coming back’ post. Can’t I just write another blog post, instead of welcoming myself back to my own party? Right now, I have nothing going in my mind except reviving my blog and bringing it back to life. So I am here welcoming myself into the blogosphere again and talking to myself through my blog!
