In this male dominant society, sexual abuse against men are usually buried deep down or never addressed properly. Most of the time the existence of female predators are not even addressed because of the strong beliefs we have about men, women, power and sex. A male is always seen as a sex seeking creature and if approached by a woman he should consider it as an opportunity and can have pride over his mascunality. Many popular jokes, films and advertisements (mostly deodorant ads) portray women seducing men in a positive way. And a boy who complains about it is seen as less man or coward. In short, a sexually assaulted male has to stay silent and enjoy the act. Men who acknowledge about their sexual assault are humiliated and laughed at.
We are brought up in a society that never acknowledges male sexual assault or female predators. Even when the issue comes to light through someone else, its the male who is blamed of rape and assault. It is true that we live in a male chauvinist and sexist society, but it does not mean that assault on men should go unnoticed. Also older men who sexually assault young boys are always seen as gays rather than pedophiles. And gays are generally seen as cock hungry zombies who have nothing other than cock in their mind. Homosexuality is not about banging in the toilet and picking up in metro. It is a sexual preference, where a person prefer to live with a person of their own sex.
Sexually assaulted young boys are confused about their gender, sexuality. Sometimes it can even make them addicted towards their assaulter if the victim believes in the popular myth that men are lucky to be lured by women. Aren’t we betraying a vast number of innocent men just because of few ignorant creatures who happen to walk with two legs and have extra flesh between their legs?
